Project Aurora - Making Mooncake into Singapore's Record Book

Project Aurora is an initiative by Marsiling Youth Executive Club under People's Association. This is a year long project which targets to raise funds for the committee and benefit the needy. The project kick-started with this record breaking mooncake making session, with a aim of making 6,000 mooncakes, assisted by some 300 volunteers and senior citizens. It is now officially in the Singapore's Record Book as the most mooncake made in a single session in a single location! It was a eventful but tired occasion. :)

A Simple Photographer to Teach Simple Skills: Learn to Control Your DSLR in 3 Lessons

To be very honest with you I’m still pretty new to photography as I started out only in Aug 2009, but throughout this 1 year I have devoted much time to learn as much as possible and pick up the trade.
I was a newbie before and I can understand how frustrating it is to own a camera that controls you rather than you control it. What I believe is to impart practical skills while along the way I will explain and explain the theories of the various functions.
I have recently started coaching some newcomers to DSLR and within the 3 lessons they went from knowing little to shooting Manual mode with ease and understanding the relationship between Aperture and Shutter Speed. The following is what you will learn over the 3 lessons

- Know what’s AV, P, TV and M mode and which mode is best for what purposes.
- Learn how to shoot Landscape, Portrait/ Food
- Sunset shoot
- Will let you try my lenses and gear so that you can experience and know what lenses are good for what events
- Give you advice if you want to buy any particular lenses

If you are keen, feel free to sms or email me so that I can show you more photos at my facebook.

Lower Peirce Again....

I feel so relax when i see this photo..haha.
I'm not saying this because i took it! Seriously!Golden Night

I purposely inverted the photo upside down because of the clear reflection.
But the foreground was too tight, could have done better and enhance the effect more.

This is the second time i been to LPR and this is also the second time i saw couples taking their wedding shots there..seems like a hotspot. I admit the sunset shoot over there is very nice. Can get real surreal backdrop for photoshoot, depending on the weather and sky.

Sceneries

Took this at Mui Ne, Vietnam.
It's called Fairytale Stream if i recall correctly.

I love this!

This shot too! Mui Ne's Fish Market

Took this on a coach bus in Malaysia...different feel
and it's noisy because of the high ISO used to freeze the object.
